Needed to upgrade my muffler with one I ordered online for my gmc truck. Juan did a very great job attending me & answering any questions I had about the process. This was my first experience with this shop and this will continue to be the shop I use for any of my exhaust work needs. Great service from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Juan who took the time to answer all my questions about the muffler work I needed. He brought Rob in to help, and Rob really knew his stuff. He measured everything out, gave a solid recommendation, and got me scheduled the same week. The work was done right and on time. Rob did a great job, and the price honestly came in better than I expected. No surprises, just good, honest service. Definitely recommend if you need muffler work done right.

Had a noise coming from my exhaust. The Muffler Shop identified the problem with in minutes. They took my 2022 GMC Denali in and fixed it. Total time on site about one hour. Chris inside the office is a wonderful person and Rob did the repairs outstanding work. I will be bringing my 2011 Acura tomorrow. Highly recommend.

Top-notch garage/repair shop. Office staff Chris and Juan converted my VIN # into an oil-change price quotation for my motorhome (7.3L Ford V8) that I accepted online. I was checked-in quickly and was out of there in less than 1-hour. The owner Nate was on-premises to oversee everything. Very competent office staff, mechanics, and owner….their pricing was competitive too! Strongly recommend this shop, well done Chris, Juan, and Nate

My new favorite mechanic. And they do much more than mufflers. I had an estimate from a Ford dealer for $3000 to replace catalytic converters because the mounting flange (?) was damaged and no longer seated well against the turbos (?). I took it to The Muffler Shop, they took 10 minutes to analyze it, said the catalytic converters were perfectly fine. Just needed to cut off the old flanges and weld on new ones. Took one hour and less than $400. Saved me $2600 and got rid of of the exhaust leakage.

I Have Been Using This Shop For Many Years. They Recently Replaced A Muffler On My 2014 Toyota Sienna Handicapped Van.They Did A Great Job As Always! The Price For The New Muffler Was Very Reasonable. Every Time My Family Or I Enter This Shop, The Manager Mr. (Nate) And His Entire Staff Treat Us With The Highest Amount Of Respect. These guys will not lie to you. How about what your car needs. I went to GMC and quoted $2800. Went to the muffler shop and was charged $195. Another at one time I was quoted 1800 for catalytic converters and the vehicle only needed a $85 sensor. These guys are the best and they can save you a lot of money..

The Muffler shop in Buford a fantastic place to have your car repaired. From the moment you walk in, they diagnose the problem you are having, give you a written estimate and an appointment time. It really is worry free. I have been having all three of my cars serviced there for several years, and would recommend The Muffler Shop to anyone in need of high quality automotive repair work.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND THEY GO BACK ON THEIR WORD! BAIT AND SWITCH Brought my charger up there and they gave a good price to do an exhaust delete. They did a good job and I asked if the price would be the same for my Durango and they said yes. 2 weeks later I took my Durango up there. I confirmed it would be the same price as the charger and they said yes. 4 hrs later I get a call and they explain to me that they gave me the wrong price and it would be $250 more. I explained to them they said it would be the same as I brought the charger up there before. I told them I would just come and pick up the Durango and take it elsewhere. They informed me that the work was already done. That's called BAIT AND SWITCH! They told me they couldn't undue the work. I wouldn't recommend them as they give you a price and then change it after the work is done!

My truck had side exit exhaust. I've been wanting to change it to rear exit. The guys at the muffler shop took time to help me pick out the tips and once they had it on the lift the guys let me go into the bay to show me different fittings to what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for better service. I'll definitely be back and I'd recommend anymore looking for auto/truck repairs to check these guys out they are very helpful. Great quality, and dependable. Brought my Toyota Tundra in there to get the exhaust system reconfigured, after installing long tube headers. Rob laid out the system in a way that made the most sense. His welds were top notch as well. You can tell that he takes pride in his work. Not your average production shop, they are capable of the custom fab work that is harder to find at most places. I did not know that they are a full service shop, not just a muffler place. They also took care of my alignment, and did well at figuring out the adjustable upper control arms. Highly recommend. Rob is a true craftsman.

’ve had positive experiences with Buford Muffler Shop in the past, particularly eight years ago when they did excellent exhaust work on my Toyota Corolla, featured on one of my YouTube channels. The staff is always friendly, which I appreciate. However, my recent visit with my Chevy Silverado 1500 was disappointing. I scheduled an appointment to replace the stock single-in, single-out muffler with a single-in, dual-out muffler and some tubing out behind my wheels, initially quoted at $250, which seemed reasonable. After the original muffler was removed, I was told that additional tubing and labor would increase the cost to about $1,000. That was surprising, since a full cat-back system costs around $600 online. For those considering exhaust work, I was told that this was an miscommunication issue and educated that it’s $75 per circle weld for standard vehicles and $100 per circle weld for diesels, so keep that in mind. I waited for an hour and a half, only to have my old muffler reinstalled and leave without the upgrade. The employee who brought my truck back to me offered to install a single-out muffler and use my existing tubing for $350, but after the time wasted and the unexpected price change, I declined. I hope this was a one-off miscommunication issue, given my positive past experience.

Can't find anything bad to say about this place. Everyone there was very professional and knowledgeable. Went in to get a AWE system put on my Tacoma and they walked me through each step and showed me after it was done and asked if I was happy with the work. They told me it would take about an hour and a half and it only took an hour. Plus it was cheaper than they quoted me. If I need any other work done I will definitely be returning to this shop.
